What would happen if women decided they’d had Enough?

Photo of Lisbon sticker art -- a young woman with long hair is holding her fists in front of her -- written on her hands is "'Cause if it wasn't for all of your torture I wouldn't know how to be this way now and never back down so I wanna say thank you" - a part of the #shitgirlsdoproject on Instagram

It’s taken me weeks to get, well, brave enough to share the first excerpt from one of my novels-in-progress, Stephanie Domingues. I posted the first SDinstallment/episode today, and will be posting weekly episodes until I’ve shared the whole thing! (Which means, you know, I’ll have to keep writing and find out what happens!)

Stephanie Dominguesis a story about anger. It’s a story about fighting back. It’s a story that asks the question, What would happen if women started fighting back? Physically, I mean. If women — all around the world — got so tired of men’s violence towards them, towards their children, that they finally could say, Enough— what would happen?

Meridian Retreat
A day to write, replenish, and connect

Sunday, June 23
10:30am-5:30pm
light lunch provided, as well as snacks throughout the day

For this day-long writing retreat, we gather at a private, comfortable home in the East Bay Hills. Come early for coffee or tea and some home-baked breakfast, and then write through the rest of the morning. After a break for a light lunch, we’ll dive back into our work through the afternoon, and will close by 5:30pm.

The fee for the retreat is $200. To reserve a space, I’m asking folks to make a $100 deposit; the balance can be paid at the retreat itself. Once I receive your deposit, then your space is confirmed!
